Why sleep on silk?

Glowing skin and anti-ageing
Silk is a natural porous protein fibre and more than 97% of pure silk contains 18 essential amino acids. Silk’s serine can nourish and hydrate the skin, increase the vitality of skin cells and help prevent skin aging and wrinkles. It’s also less absorbent than cotton, so your face cream or serum stays on your skin rather than rubbing off on the pillow.

Smoother, healthy hair
A silk pillowcase can keep your hair soft and smooth, leaving your hair less tangled, oily, dry, rough, frizzy or knotted. No more bedhead!

Warm in winter and cool in summer
Silk has clever temperature-regulating qualities. Its warmth retention is better than cotton or wool to keep you warm in winter, while it’s a breathable fabric to keep you cool in the summer.

Promotes good sleep
Silk protein’s amino acids can promote your sleep quality by absorbing the body’s sweat, keeping you comfortable while you sleep and helping prevent conditions such as rheumatism and arthritis.

Antibacterial and hypoallergenic
The silk sericin helps prevent and repel mites, germs and moulds. It’s also a naturally hypoallergenic fabric and ideal for allergy sufferers.
